Each class begins with a beginner-friendly session where new participants learn the fundamentals of Aztec dance. The second portion is a more advanced practice focused on ceremonial formations and protocols. Whether you are taking your first steps or returning after time away, you'll find a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive community where you can learn, grow, and connect with Indigenous traditions.
Our temazcal can be a healing and empowering experience for our dancers. Temazcal dates and times are announced at our dance classes.
After becoming an official member, participants can begin working on their regalia. Workshop dates and times are announced at our dance classes.
Members are encouraged to explore and learn from the rich Aztec dance community all over California. Together we visit the ceremonies held by different communities.
Come as you are, Mondays and Thursdays, 6:30–9:00 PM. No experience needed — just bring yourself.
